Project information

Professional Transportation, Inc is a major transportation service for the railroad industry, helping professional railroad crew arrive at their destination on time and safely. PTI has clients that include CSXT, Union Pacific, Amtrak, BNSF Railway, among many others. PTI needed an improved desktop and mobile app experience in customer transportation requests to manage and track trip details taken by each vehicle, in addition to an updated cellular technology. I worked with PTI to design and build a new mobile transportation app, a new internal desktop dispatcher app, and update their cellular technology. My role on this project was Product Owner and assisting the UX and Visual Designers. The new mobile and web apps, alongside new mobile hardware, was successfully implemented, creating a user-friendly experience for managing customer transportation requests and tracking trip details.
